Scottie, the companion of Ticking Timebomb, is a small Shetland that is absolutely full of life. He has no concept of his size and is more than happy to run alongside the big horses, thinking himself one of them. He's mischievous - often darting about to steal food from his friend and the other horses - causing him to become well known on the yard as a tiny troublemaker.
Originally purchased as the first pony for the Dales' son, George, the family couldn't let go of the Shetland when he was outgrown. They kept him as a pet and, when they moved to the US to help start King of the Hill Stables, Scottie came too. The small pony quickly found a friend in Ben (Ticking Timebomb). The larger colt would become depressed when left on his own so Arthur had the bright idea to introduce the two in the hope that Scottie could be a companion for him. They got on like a house on fire, and now are rarely seen apart.
